Naomi Ann Conger and Marc Wesley Jones, of Albia, IA were married July 8, 2014. We all like Marc and are happy to have him with the family.  Congratulations! And wish you the best of luck. Then I believe they 'took some time off'
but back in the old days we called it a
'honeymoon.' They went down to the Ozarks
and came back through Kansas, probably so Naomi
could see her new nephew. I have a few pictures of
them 'relaxing.'
 By golly, that boat must've been quite the deal ........  Entertainment .......  And food ...... Must've been ok as I never heard complaint. 
   
 Looks like Naomi caught the moon. Now that would be quite a feat. They rode the boat, went to a couple theaters, and a wax museum.  and then over to Kansas to see Oscar. 
 Now, I'm not jealous (I don't think) but ........ What is this, Oscar and his court? Well, if I was as good lookin' as he is, I'd be the same I reckon. His aunt Naomi sure likes him. The Jones' planted some sweet corn (Marc is a farmer as well as electrical worker) and Marc is showing Riley how it grows and how to check it during the cycle. Then Riley conquers the 4-wheeler! 
 Boy, I sure hope she doesn't get reckless with that thing. I know they are a lot of fun ...........but.  The guys went to the races in Eddyville, IA and looks like they were enjoying themselves. The photog took the picture kind of cockeyed but I thought it would look better this way. Too good a picture to throw away ....... Goodness gracious, is this our Emily?  Hmmm, we wouldn't send her out into the world with no shoes but then again ....... I better see her Grandma. Well, here is a couple handsome people. Ethan is the football player and Riley is into cheer-leading. 
 I believe this is Ethan's senior year. Well, he's playing football again. He sure likes to play and has been playing at linebacker position but I hear they want to move him to running back if they can. Either way, I think he'll contribute to their program. Big Red ...... Ethan Hawk!  So Ethan figures he may as well help out the youngsters and he joined in "signing a hat" deal with the kiddies. His mother advised, of course and here they are as they reported for the services.  Looks like a pretty energetic crew, actually. Some of the kids are wearing the hats and someone in next picture is holding some unsigned ones. 
 
 This little fellow got a hat signed by the Big Red's premier half back, Ethan Hawk. I believe there were several besides him. Getting ready for the Senior Homecoming festivities. I think Ethan was in the top 5 persons chosen to be King. Was not picked but close - way to go Ethan! Hate to see such a handsome young fellow not being King. 
 
 and Riley and Naomi and A CHILI FEED for the school, served by the football team! Em getting ready for another year at University of Iowa and her buddy Riley ....... 
 Looks like Riley is out early today ....... starting school? Then right away ....... Homecoming! 
 Riley is still dancing. She's almost like a professional. Knows where all the contests are, what to do to get into them and how to get there, I swear. She wins her share of awards, too. Has taken top honors a couple of times. 
 'Course, she has lots of support, etc. and No. 1 is Mom and the brothers right there, too. We all cheer for her winning. 
  We're pretty proud of the young ones, they have all risen to the call for excellence whether it be band, football, academics. 
 Ethan even wound up in the top five ranks at homecoming.   Still hunting and fishing. The boys do pretty darn good. Troy is a natural woodsman; hunt, fish, trap. They do it all. 
 
 Here is Riley at Christmas 2014 and again accepting an award from the Law Center. Below is photo when they won the 2014 district basketball championship.
